COVID-19
The Merrick Public Library, Brookfield will close effective
Tuesday, March 17, 2020 for an indefinite period of time. The Board of Trustees
and library staff hope to open, April 7, 2020.
The staff will provide curbside pick-ups for our patrons,
please call 508-867-6339 or email brookfieldcovid19@gmail.com. This week Tuesday, March 17, from 4:00 to
7:00 p.m. and Thursday, March 19 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. We would prefer all patrons keep your
materials on loan until we re-open.
- All events, and programs are at this time either cancelled or postponed.
- The library will waive overdue fines for our library patrons through May 1st.
- During this time, we are expanding automatic renewals and allowing people to keep their books and other materials for 15 weeks.
- Use of online library services will not be suspended for patrons during this period. A free Boston ecard is available through www.bpl.org/general/circulation/ecards.htm
- We foresee no interruption in our digital services, which will remain on line for cardholders to enjoy remotely.
- The Merrick Public Library wifi is always available 24 hours 7 days a week.

Coronavirus situation. Further updates to our operating hours will be
announced through this website, and on our social media platforms.

Massachusetts Library System: Delivery System
Delivery will run today, Monday, March 16, 2020, dropping
off items as scheduled, but will then hiatus for at least the rest of the week,
to March 20. No bins will be picked up.
