The Friends of the Library will have their Annual Book Sale and Apple Pie Surprise, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
If you fall clean, we are excepting book/material donations for the Book Sale during regular open hours.

Apple Country Fair Quilt Raffle!!

On display at the library!  The Apple Country Fair, Saturday, October 11, 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.  Tickets for the quilt raffle will be available for sale at the fair.  $2.00 each ticket and $5.00 for three (3) tickets.  Congratulations to Janet Seery for winning the quilt!

Apple Country Fair Quilt!

Rapple Tickets are available at the Merrick Public Library in Brookfield during regular open hours. The community quilt is now on display. The Rapple has other great prizes including Eagle Hill Cultural Center Tickets, a Walker Homestead gift, Hancock Shaker Village Admission Package, Tip Top gift certificate and many more! The 32nd Annual Brookfield Apple Country Fair will be held Saturday, October 9th, 2010 from 10:00 to 4:00 p.m. A donation of $2.00 per ticket or 3 tickets for $5.00 benefits the Brookfield community Club which in turn awards grants to the Brookfield community! The Friends of the Library are still accepting book donations for their Book Sale to be held at the library during the Fair.

The Apple Country Fair Quilt for October 2010 is well on it's way to completion. Volunteers laid out the squares on the library floor Friday, April 2. The apple red's are beautiful!

Friends of the Library

The Friends of the Library will meet Wednesday, September 30 at 12:30 p.m. On the agenda is discussion regarding Cat's Meow fundraising, upcoming programs, and Apple Country Fair (ACF) Book Sale and ACF games for children. The RAPPLE quilt is currently on display at the library, tickets are available. Join us for a great time and fun!
