Art program with Sangita


Wednesday, August 1, Sangita Desai will assist students with Rangoli, Indian Art from 3:00 to 4:30 p.m.  This program is supported in part by a grant from the Brookfield Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Council, a state agency.

Henna: Traditional Temporary Tatoos with Sangita Desai

Friday, September 18 from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. Henna: Traditional Temporary Tatoos. Sangita Desai, a professional Henna artist, will introduce the art of Henna in Indian culture and will apply a long-lasting henna tatoo to each participant. This program is for ages 4 to adult, both genders. Participation is limited, please sign-up at the library. Funded by the Friends of the Library.
