Brookfield Battles Bullying 2014 with grant from Brookfield Community Club


Save the dates!  Chief Mike Blanchard and Brenda Metterville are adopting the students and teachers from the stopbullying.gov Springdale Middle School and their webisodes to watch throughout this year.  You will meet students, including KB (Katie Blue), Brick, Milton and more along with strong adult role models (the students teachers) Mr. Bittner, Coach Cruncher and others.  Pizza or dinner will be served from Uncle Sam’s of East Brookfield.  Dates to save, All Thursdays, 6:00-7:00 p.m.:  February 20 (school vacation week), March 6, March 20, April 3, April 17.  There will be no dinners during May and June, stay tuned for July Dinners!  Funded with a grant from the Brookfield Community Club.

Brookfield battles bully behavior with Family Dinner nights!



BROOKFIELD COMMUNITY CLUB:  Thursday, April 25, 6:00  to 7:00 p.m. The Police and Library staff invite students, parents and grandparents,  to attend Family Dinner at the library. Food is  provided by Uncle Sam’s Pizza of East Brookfield.  We are hosting an open forum to discuss bullying in school or in the community. This free event is funded by the Brookfield Community Club.

PIZZA NIGHT!



BROOKFIELD COMMUNITY CLUB:  Thursday, February 28, 6:00  to 7:00 p.m. The Police and Library staff invite students, parents and grandparents,  to attend Family Dinner at the library.  Food will be purchased from Uncle Sam's in East Brookfield.  We are hosting an open forum to discuss current topics such as bullying, harassment, concerns regarding safety, and both positive and negative behavior issues.  This free event is funded by the Brookfield Community Club.

Family Dinner's with the Brookfield Police and Library staff at the library



Thursday, November 8, 6:00 p.m. Family Dinner out!  Chicken Tenders, Salad and French Fries from Uncle Sam’s Pizza of East Brookfield.  Join the Library staff and the Brookfield Police Department at the library and eat hearty while discussing back to school issues and adjustments!  SAVE THE DATE! Our next Family Dinner is scheduled for Thursday, December 13, 6:00 p.m. Lasagna or penne and salad from Uncle Sam’s Pizza.  Funded with a grant from the Brookfield Community Club.

Anti-Bully Campaign in Brookfield

M. Julie Lesure, a lawyer from the  office of Joseph Early  D. A.,  presents  information to students and parents during the town of Brookfields anti-bully campaign at the public library. 


This program is funded by the Brookfield Community Club.

Pizza Night!


Thursdays, July 12, July 26 and August 9, 2012. M. Julie Lesure with the District Attorney’s Office will join us July 12!  Pizza is served at 6:00 p.m. This free monthly event is funded with a grant from the Brookfield Community Club.


The Police and Library staff invite members of the community to attend Pizza Night at the library.  We are hosting an open forum (with free pizza!) to discuss current topics such as bullying, harassment, concerns regarding safety, and both positive and negative behavior issues.
