Robert Wilder, Tuesdsay, April 29 at 7:00 p.m.

Tuesday, April 29, 7:00 p.m.
"The Way Things Never Were!" by Bob Wilder.
Mr. Wilder will present descriptions of early Central New England life styles and conditions. "If your ancestors came to visit, you would not allow them to enter your home!" Why all New Englanders went 6 to 8 months a year without a bath! Who but the French would consider using a fork to dine! Morality, HUH! Wait ‘til you hear how it really was. Bathrooms, who needs them! Underwear, rarely used! Mothers were directly responsible for nearly all the deaths of children under 1 year old—Why did it take 250 years to learn why?
One hour of vivid descriptions of our early ancestors’ primitive life styles as well as many unknown facets of daily life, not commonly known about our Central New England ancestors.
