Riley Landine and her wonderful Birthday Party!

A wonderful 5th Birthday Party for Ms. Riley Landine! Friends and family each purchased a children's book for the library instead of presents! The entire wish list was purchased by The The Seerys,  The Kanes, The Clarks, The Casuccis, The Karbowskis, The Rossis, The Hills, The Oxmans, The Dulmaines, The Golds, The Landines, The Tamburris, The Snyders! All generously donated books to the Children's collection. The titles include:

GALLOP!, written and illustrated by Rufus Butler Seder. (Workman, $12.95.) Animals seem to move when you flip the page. (Ages 4 to 8)



SKIPPYJON JONES, LOST IN SPICE, written and illustrated by Judy Schachner. (Dutton, $16.99.) The peppery red planet captures a cat's fancy. (Ages 4 to 8)



MARLEY AND THE KITTENS, by John Grogan. Illustrated by Richard Cowdrey. (Harper/HarperCollins, $17.99.) Dog plus cats means bedlam. (Ages 3 to 6) 



THE EARTH BOOK, written and illustrated by Todd Parr. (Megan Tingley/Little, Brown, $9.99.) Ideas for saving the planet, plus a poster. (Ages 3 to 6)
