CPR CLASS--FULL new class scheduled April 5 and April 6, $50 fee.

The Merrick Public Library is offering an American Heart Association CPR and First Aid Class presented by Matt Simpson on Tuesday and Wednesday, April 5th and 6th.  There is a $50 fee for this class.  The class will be held from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm and attendance at both sessions is mandatory for certification.  The class is being offered to members of the Brookfield community who want a course completion card.  Students will learn to manage illness and injuries in the first few minutes until professional help arrives as well as Adult, Child and Infant CPR.  Use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) will also be taught.  This class is open to members of the community age 11 and over.  This free program is funded by the Friends of the Library.  Please call 508 867 6339 for further information or to register.  February class full.  March class full.  April class has three sign-ups left, please call or e-mail now.
