| Brenda with her grandson Conner, 20 books (instead of gifts) were donated in honor of Conner s first birthday! Several other Brookfield families including the Landines and Simpsons have also donated children books from birthday parties!!! |

| Two times a year Native American non-fiction books arrive from Colorado in memory of Louise Meadows, a Brookfield resident who passed away several years ago. These three titles arrived the second week of January 2012. |
