Car seat safety inspections with technician Brookfield Officer Jason
White (During ZUMBA and music time!) Officer White will be available to inspect
the installation of children’s car seats and check for expired or recalled car
seats. If necessary, Officer White will
have new car seats for replacement.
The mission statement for the Executive
Office of Public Safety and Security's Highway Safety Division (EOPSS/HSD) is
committed to ensuring the safety of children riding in motor vehicles on the
Commonwealth's roadways. EOPSS/HSD actively works with local municipalities and
not-for-profit organizations to promote proper child passenger seat
installation and usage through community outreach, maintaining a child
passenger safety (CPS) hotline, and by training CPS technicians. We will
continually strive to increase the number of CPS checkup events and fitting
stations throughout the Commonwealth.
